DELIVERING DHA
While several fish oils provide a decent amount of EPA, few omega-3 products come close to delivering as much DHA per serving as Omega JYM. That’s a shame, because adequate amounts of DHA – in conjunction with EPA – are helpful for reaping all the amazing benefits omega-3 fats can deliver.
4 CAPSULES A DAY, NOT 15
Skimping on DHA (which most fish oil products do) means that you have to take a handful of capsules to get the proper daily amount.
For example, if a fish oil capsule only delivers 150 mg of DHA, you would need to swallow 10 capsules per day, every day. That’s not only a hassle, but it means that you’re ingesting an extra 10-12 grams of fat per day just to get the 1.5 grams (1,500 mg) of DHA you want. Many fish oil/omega-3 products on the market actually require you to consume 12-15 capsules per day to hit 1,500 mg of DHA!
I formulated Omega JYM to provide 375 mg of DHA and EPA per capsule. That means you only need to take four Omega JYM capsules per day to get 1,500 mg of both DHA and EPA. That totals just 5.6 grams of fat per day. Few, if any, other fish oil supplements provide that much DHA per capsule.
